Hope it very easy to use - 1 week until EclipseCon for a demo ;)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04192783689046741384noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1616206987206690523.post-18120768084189867062012-03-17T08:03:17.102-07:002012-03-17T08:03:17.102-07:00These IJavaCompletionProposal types you refer to a...These IJavaCompletionProposal types you refer to are for code completion, and not quick fixes, right? In general, we in JDT do not make stuff API (or non-final) unless asked for. From a quick glance at LazyGenericTypeProposal, I do not see a reason for it to be final. You can open bugs for stuff which you think can be API, and we can discuss on a case by case basis.Deepakhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12947774811212314687noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1616206987206690523.post-53801453153003707962012-03-17T07:07:35.605-07:002012-03-17T07:07:35.605-07:00Because you asked... ;)

Unfortunately, there are a few final classes which forced me to create a complete copy of the final class instead of subclassing and adapting the isPrefix method (see http://goo.gl/3Bx8f for one such example) Is final required for these classes?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04192783689046741384noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1616206987206690523.post-85846752344119950852012-03-17T05:01:00.556-07:002012-03-17T05:01:00.556-07:00@Marcel Let us know if you still find something ch...@Marcel Let us know if you still find something challenging.Deepakhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12947774811212314687noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1616206987206690523.post-16940699004717406772012-03-17T04:55:56.377-07:002012-03-17T04:55:56.377-07:00I'm truly looking forward to dig into your org...I'm truly looking forward to dig into your org.eclipse.jdt.ui.text.java.correction APIs.
